13/ The kingdom of lemurs with Berenty: 5 nights – 6 days

by

INTRODUCTION

Due to its isolation from the rest of Africa, Madagascar wildlife has evolved on its own, making its fauna and flora unique in the world. The most amazing of Madagascar’s wildlife are the lemurs which are only found in Madagascar. More than 100 species have been recorded.

Located in the south-eastern part of Madagascar, Fort dauphin is a place of contrasts not only of vegetation but of landscapes and cultures as well. We have the humid part with its luxuriant vegetation and its huge mountains, the sea with its nice beaches, then the “Androy” which is the dry land with its spiny forest. In 6 days, you will see   a good sample of the whole country’s scenery. This tour brings us to the best area where travellers can spot and enjoy the lemur’s show: also to Berenty and Nahampoina, called  “the kingdom of lemurs” for their large population of lemurs living in their natural habitat.
